Float on till the spoon arrives,
Run for your life once it does.
But you can't run, so use your fins
But that's no fun, so bump into your friend
As foe takes friends one by one
You watch them go and come undone
Meanwhile, you wonder
What could be so cruel?
Why does it want you?
Why are you so tasty?
Why is your pond so warm?
But why can't you answer any of these questions?
Because that's the way things are
So just float on until your turn comes
Because when it does, it will be quick
And you will be soggy, and you'll realize
Even though you might be the Soupa Fish
You're still a baked snack.
